Public Notices. AMURI DISTRICT ROAD ASSESSMENT. IN ACCORDANCE with Clause 10 of the " Country Roads Amendment Act, 1858," the owners and occupiers of lands and tenements within this district, or their agents, are hereby required to forward to tho Road Board within one calendar month from this date a statement in writing of tho quantity and nature of the lands and tenements owned or occupied by such persons within this district, with the names of owners or occupiers thereof, and the estimated value to sell of such properties. j No porson neglecting to furnish such return will be entitled to appeal against the assessment about to bo made. HEREBY GlVENthatthoOO- * PARTNERSHIP hitherto carried on by Jeremiah Jones, Frederick William Eicke, and William Mardon, as auctioneers, commission agents, and publicans, at Christohuioh, and by Jeremiah Jones, Edward McGlashan, Frederick William Eioke, and William Mardon, as auctioneers and commission agents at Hokitika, in the Province of Canterbury, undor the style or firm of " Jones, MoGlashan, and Company," has been DISSOLVED by mutual consent as from the twentieth day of June last so far as regards the said Frederick William Eioke. The business of the said co-partnership will in future be carried on at Chnstchuroh by tho said Jeremiah Jones and William Mardon, and at Hokitika by the said Edward McGlashan, Jeremiah Jones, and William Mardon, under the said stylo or firm of "Jones, McGlashan, and Company." All monejs owing to, and payable by, the late firm will be received and paid at Christchuroh by the said William Mardon, and at Hokitika by the said Jeremiah Jones.
