'•Sir,—We, the undersigned, elector* of the City of Dunedin," considering that the present political exigency demands that our representa'ives i Q the General Assembly should be agreed on the great question of separation, respectfully call upon you to redeem the promise made by you at public meeting on tho 15th day 0 f October last, and resign your seat ia the General Assembly, that the electora may have an opportunity of choosing a member whose opinions will accord with their own on this and other great questions. —We are, &c.
