UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE the Provincial Government will provide Free Passages for Single Women between the ages of fifteen and thirty; and in the case of grown-up families, the parents and sons will be allowed assistance to the extent of one-half the passage money if the other half is paid before embarkation, or if preferred to the ex- j tent of cne-third, the other two-thirds being secured by bills given by friends in this province. TENDERS are Invited by the Kowai Road Board for the following Works : — For forming, claying and metalling eighteen chains of the Great North road. For constructing two culverts and forming about thirty chains of Marsbm;in's road. For constructing a culvert and altering and extending the cutting on the road leading from the Railway Keserve road to the River Kowai, between Sections 2883 and 2611. And for several smaller works, particulars of which may be seen, with all the specifications, at the Store of Messrs. D. and D. Cameron, Saltwater creek.
