Messrs. Stubbe and King report that at the auction eale at the farm of Mr E. Pilbrow, Kiikahu, on the 25th ultimo, the attendance ■was very numerous, hut only moderate prices wvre realised. The following is a list of the prices : —Oats, threshed and bagged, 2s 6d
per bushel; oats, in stack, Iβ per bushel; wheat, in stack, 2s per bushel ; barley, threshed, 2s 6d per bushel; oaten hay, 22s per ton ; saddle horses, from £9 to £21; draught horses,, from £12 to £38 ; harness, £3 per set; steam threshing machine, £-100 ; bullocks, £22; ploughs, £5 to £9; harrows, £3 10s ; dreys, £7 to £10 10s ; geese, 03 ; ducks, 2s; and" fowls, 2s each. Messrs Driver, M'Lean and Co. report a very fair attendance and spirited bidding at their great auction sale of sheep at Mr Pitt 9, Rokt-by station, South Rakaia, on 25th ultimo. The sales'were as follows : — 3000 full and broken-mouthed ewes at from 8s to 9s ; 2600 full-mouthed wethers, at 12s 6d ; 800 two, four, and six-tooth ewes (inferior), at 10a 6d ; 1200 two and four-tooth wethers, at 10s 3d ; and 3000 mixed lambs, shorn, at 18s per pair.
