Wainui, Captain Driver, sailed for Dunedin, via intermediate ports at three p.m. yesterday, having made an ineffectual attempt to tow out the ship Matoaka. On leaving the vessel a foul took place, fortunately little damage was done. The Wainui carried away part of her cross-trees and some rigging ; the dolphin Btriker of the Matoaka, and the chain attached to it, were broken.
