Sailed—April 4—4.15 p.m., Keera for Hokitika; 5 p.m., Planet for Wanganui. April 5—2 p.m., Celoeno, ship, for London; 3.15 p.m., Tararua for Lyttelton.

The following aro the passengers per Mermaid, which sails for London to-morrow, weather permitting: —Cabin: Mr and Mrs Weld, five children and servant, Misses L. and S. Martin, Miss Ellis, Mrs Lee, Mr H. Watson, Mr and Mrs Luck and five children, Mrs R. Townsend and Mr Ward's two children, Mrs D. Murray ; second-cabin : Mr W. Pitcaithly, Mr E. Rickard, Mr George Finlay and lour children. During the past few days the river at Kaiapoi, from the number of vessels coming and going, has presented quite a lively appearance. The s.s. Waipara arrived at three p.m. on Thursday, having since her last trip undergone a thorough overhaul on the slip of Messrs Gruhb and Allan, and having had a new bulkhead put in the house on deck. She sailed for Lyttelton at quarter-past three p.m. yesterday with the Lady Don in tow.
