CiiaiSTCHT/BCH—March 30. [Before C. C. Bowen, Esq., R.M.] M. R. Ashwin was charged with having Motuously appropriated a bill of exchange. a« Uamck, on behalf of the prisoner, applied for a remand, on the ground that as the only beon put in his hands a few «ours previously, he had not had time to preP ar e it. The application was granted, and the prisoner was remanded on bail until Wednesday next.
*he three prisoners, Davies, Weixon and with stealing horses from go&itika, were again brought up, and the esiaent Magistrate having heard the evidence e '7 witnesses as to the identification of on» of the horses, committed the prisoners I(> f trial at the Supremo Court.
L-vOTBI/roN—March 30. [Before 1?. Gibson, Esq, J.P.] James Clarke, alias the Brusher, was brought up in custody charged with indecent exposure in a public place. The prisoner, who was well known to the police as an incorrigible vagabond, was committed to gaol for one month, with hard labor.
