The Bank rate of discount was lowered on 20th December to 3£ per PPnt New Zealand debentures were offered to the extent of £250,000. There were applications for £313,000, and £70,200 were allotted about the minimum, which was fixed at £95. At the half-yearly meeting of the Panama and New Zealand Company no dividend was declared. Debentures for an extra £70,000 are to be raised. LONDON AVOOL EEPORT. . The last sales closed on December 10. Manufacturers bought largely at prices quoted at August sales, excepting Cape wools, which were l|d lower. Lower prices are looked for this year.
