Tho rain fair at Oamaru was held to-day. The attendance was not numerous; buyers were comparatively few and the bidding not spirited. 2000 or 3000 sheep from Otago, Canterbury and Auckland flocks were offered for sale. The weather for the major portion of the day was unfavorable. There was a general feeling that the fair was held too late in the season.
