TASMANIA. 40 4 and 6-tooth pure-bred Leicester ewes 20 ram lambs ditto ditto 25 ewe lambs ditto ditto 1 2-tooth ram ditto ditto These Bheep are descended from ewes bought about twenty years ago from Mr Forester, Rueselands—ono of the greatest prize-takers in England,—and crossod by tho best tupa which could be procured from Mr 8011, Brompton ; Mr 8011, Sealo Hill ; Mr Robinson, Lcakby Palace : Mr Beatio, Neoby House ; and tho Duke of Devonshire, no expense having boon spared in combining good quality with plenty of wool uud mutton. 9 2 and 6-tooth owes, bred by — Jones Esq., of Tasmania 4 6-tooth puro-bred Lincoln rams, bred by Dr Brown, of South Australia, from imported stock 4 4-tooth Cotswold rams (prize-takers,) bred by John Brown and Co., of Tea-tree Creek, Viotorio, tho product of imported ewes and rams 4 2-tooth ditto ditto ditto 2 6-tooth Leicester rams, bred by John Aitken, Esq., of Aitken's Gap 2 4-tooth, ditto ditto 1 seven-month-old ditto ditto 5 2, 4, and 6-tooth Rambouillet rams, got by pure Rambouillet rams, out of Poppin's Merino ewes, on the Billabong. The above first-class sheep are now being depastured in our Riccarton paddock, opposite the Bush Inn, where intending purchasers aro invited to inspect them, and can obtain from tho shepherds in charge every information with respect to the various classes. H. M. and Co. have every confldenco in recommending the above sheep to the notice of breeders, as they have been carefully selected by W. S. Cox, Esq., of Melbourne, who is admittedto be one of the bost judges of longwoolled sheep in the colonies ; and have also been pronounced by Messrs.
