LYTTELTON REGATTA.

TO THE EDITOB OF THE " PBESS." Deab Sib, —I noticed in your paper of the 2nd, that the Badger's boat beat us by several lengths. I wish to say our boat was not one length astern, which the crew of the Badger's boat can testify; and had it not been that our coxswain made a great mistake in rounding the buoys, we should no doubt have succeeded in winning the prize. Hoping you will insert this in your paper, I have the honor to remain, Sir, Tours, &c, (Signed) Joseph Ceisp, •; Boatswain of the Bombay. Ship Bombay, January 3, 1867.
