Several vessels have sailed for the Australian colonies with cargoes of timber, &c. The same journal gives the following report of the produce market, from Messrs Hurst & Co., produce brokers : — Oats—None in importers' hands ; dealers seek 5s 9d to 6s ; seed dealers ask 7s to 7s 6d, as per quality. Barley—Some seed barley of fine quality has jußt arrived. It realised ?•; dealers require Bs. Bran—Full supply from mills at Is 6d per bushel; retail, per bag, Is 9d. Hay—£4 10s to £5 ; oaten, £4 to £4 10s. Potatoes—Farmers stand out for £4 10s, at the Tftmaki. The stocks are now getting very low. *$|gdney advices quote a good market there at%s. Prime qualities in dealers' hands are worth £6 per ton ; inferior, £5 to £5 10a. For some'imported Hobart Towns, ex Bella Mary, £9 to £9 10s is sought. Flour —Mill, best, £20 ; seconds, £15 ; sharps, £9 ; Adelaide, £20 ; Cbillian, £18 to £18 10a. Bone-dust—Fine Auckland, £10 ; Sydney, £9 103 to £10. Market very bare. Coals —New South Wales, store, 45s to 50s; Wangarei, alongside, 25s ; store, 30s.
