THE LYTTELTON MUNICIPAL COUNCIL having made a rate of Fourpence (4d.) in tbe Found on the Assessment Roll for 1866, hereby notify that the Rate Roll is now completed, and open for inspection at the Council Office, Town Hall, Lyttelton, between the hours of ten a.m. and four p.m. daily. If any person whose name shall be on such roll 6hall object thereto, on the ground that he has ceased to be liable to be rated in respect of any property for which in such roll he is proposed to be rated, he shall give notice of Buch objection, and of the grounds thereof, to the Clerk of the Council three clear days at least before Thursday, the tenth day of May, 1866, upon which day the Council will hear and determine such objections at twelve o'clock noon in the Council Chamber.
