POST-OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails per Airedale, for England, the Australian Colonies, India, the Mediterranean Porte, Otago and Southland, will close at Christchurch at 7 a m., »nd at Lyttekon at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, the 16th inst. "; and at Kuiapoi at 2 30 p.m., on Monday, the lpth inst. Money orders must be procured before 1 p.m. ; and letters for registry must be posted before 5 p.m., on Monday, the loih inst. Late letters, for places beyond the Colony, by payment of an extra shilling stamp, and for places within the Colony, by payment of «n extra sixpenny stamp upon each letter, can be posted at Christehureh until 9.30 a.m., and at Lyttelton until 11.30 a.m., on Tuesday, the 16th inst. Maile per Phoebe, for the Northern ports of New Zealand, will close at Christchurch at 8 a.m., and at Lyttelton at 11.15 a.m., on Wednesday, the 17 th inst. Mails for the Selwyn Forks, Windwhistle House, ard Snowdon, will cLise at Christchurch on Wednesdays at 7 a.m.; the return mail will close at Snowdon at 7 a.m., and at ! Wind whistle House at 7.45 a.m. on Thursdays. Mails for Oxford will leave Rangiora at 1 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Maih for the Hurunui will close at Christchurch every Monday and Wednesday at 7 a.m. Mails for Hawkswood will close at Cbristchureh at 7 a.m. every Monday. Overland mails for Hokitika will close at Christchurch at 4.30 p.m., every Monday (for letters only). A post-office is established at Leeston, for which place mails will be forwarded via Weeden. closing at Christchurch every Monday at 7 a.tn. A post-office has been established at Addington. for whicti place mads will close at Christchurch on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 11 a.m. A post-office is established at Mr. Ford's, Selwyn Forks.
