POST-OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails per Airedale for England, India, the Australian colonies, the Mediterranean ports, Southland, and Otago wfll close at Christchurch at 7 a>m., and at Lyttelton at 9 a.m. on Monday, the 16th instant; and at Kaiapoi at 2.30 p-m. on Saturday, the 14th orders must be procured before 1 p.m., and letters for registry must be posted before 5 p.m. on Saturday, the 14th instant. Late letters for places beyond the colony by payment of an extra shilling stamp, and for places within the colony by payment of an extra sixpenny stamp upon each, can be posted at Christchurch until 9-30 sun, and at Lyttelton until 11.30 a.m. on Monday, the 16th instant Mails per Phoebe for Wellington, Nelson, Marloorouch, Taranaki, and Auckland will close at Christchurch at 8 aan-, and at Lyttelton at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, the 17th instant. A ship mail for London per Blue Jacket will close at OuMtCxhurch at 8 a_. on Tuesday, the 17th instant. Letters to be forwarded by this opportunity must be specially addressed « per Blue Jacket" F.
