THE Undersigned having become the Lessee of the Agricultural Association's Yards and Grounds, Colombo street south, begs to inform stockholders and the public generally that a market for the sale of all descriptions of stock and agricultural implements -will be held every Wednesday at the above Yards from 8 a ra. to 1 p.m., after which hour it will be open to all auctioneers to sell publicly any stock then remaining unsold. The Agricultural Show taking Place on Tins Day (Wednesday), the first market will be held on Wednesday, 23rd inst. THE Undersigned begs to intimate to the Woolgrowers of Canterbury that he purposes holding monthly sales of wool, having obtained the kind permission of Messrs. Holmes and Co. to use their large and commodious wool stores at the railway station, Christchurch. These sales are intended to meet the convenience of both merchants and stockowners, and to establish a marketable value to the great export of Canterbury. The undersigned bpgs further to intimate to his country friends that he has had twenty years experience in sheep farming, thoroughly understands classing of wool and. general routine of sales. Any person desirous of disposing of their clip by public auction will please communicate with the undersigned ten days previous to the beginning of the months of January, February, March and April. Gentlemen desirous of doing so may feel confident of their interest being carefully attended to, account sales immediately rendered, and every exertion being made to obtain the highest rate, and the. sales conducted in the most careful manner.
