Vessel being released from Quarantine and JL having reported at the Custom House, consignees are requested to present Bills of Lading and pay Freight to the undersigned, without whose order no cargo will be delivered. Arrangements have been made by the undersigned for lightering the cargo at current rates, at the risk and expense of consignees. Full particulars must be sent at once to the office of such goods as may be intended for transhipment to Christchurch. The goods so ordered to be sent to Christchurch will be transhipped to a steamer or sailing craft, if either can be obtained ; but failing this, they will be landed iv Lyttelton, if impeding the discharge of the ship. Consignees objecting to have their goods lightered as above, will please give written notice to the undersigned, on or before Friday, April 1, and it will be necessary for such consignees to have a lighter alongside the ship, ready to receive goods as they come to hand after that date.
