Southern Queen, schooner, 20 tons, The steamship Queen arrived yesterday at 2 p.m., having lelt Wellington on Tuesday at 4 p.m. By some mismanagement she left Wellington without any papers, there being but one on hoard belonging to a passenger, but which contained no news whatever of any importance. The brig Gazelle arrived yesterday afiernoon with cattle, but in consequence of the proclamation lately pu lished by the Provincial Government she ha* received orders from the authorities that they will not allow them to be landed. She is expected to proceed with them to Otago. The following exports per Zealatidla were omitted in our last report:—E. Recce. 1 cask ironmongery, value £60; G. H. Moore, 1 case, jfciu; making the total value of the cargo X 37,461. the Challenge.—The schooner Challenge which was snagged near Messrs. Montgomery and Todhunter's wharf, during the heavy S.W. gale on Sunday evening, was expected to be afloat by last evening's flood tide. She was being raised by the schooner Fawn, to which she was lashed at high water, a number of hands being employed pumping and bailing her out as the tide flowed. Her cargo which consisted of coals, was landed we believe without loss.
