ARRIVED. Nil, SAILED. Nil. IN RIVER. Rifleman, loading with groin for Aucklan. Bonnie Lass. Southern Queen, schooner, 20 tons. The Zealandiawill sail this morning, weather permitting. The splendid steamer Auckland belonging to the Intercolonial Royal Mail Company, William Smith, Commander, left Sydneyjon the 25th March, at 7.16 a.m., and arrived at Nelson on the Ist April, having experienced head winds throughout the voyage. Left Nelson for Wellington on the 2nd at 4 p.m., and arrived at Wellington at 8.30 a.m., on the 3rd ; left again lor Port Cooper at 3 p.m. on the 4th, and arrived at 11.30 a.m. on the following day. She is a very superior vessel, her cabins are fitted up in a most superb style, and the accommodation is really excellent. Next month we may expect to Fee the l'rince Alfred, she having been for the past two months at Sydney under repairs.
SUMMARY OF CARGO IN ZEALANDIA.
Passages of Oceax Steamships.—Tlte Royal Mail steamship Scotia, Judldns, commander, arrived in the Mersey from New York on Friday, which port she left on the Ifitli of December, making the quickest run on record from New York to Liverpool. The Scotia left New York at 11 R-m. on the 16th, and arrived at this port at 1.40 p.m. on the 25th, occupying (deducting difference of time, 4n. 56m., and detentions nt Quecnstown), eight days, 20 hours, 3<J minutes, the most extraordinary passage on record. The Scotia averaged a speed of 336 miles daily. In August, 1850, the Persia made the passage in 9 days 2 hours 6Vminutes; and again in July, 1857, riie made the run in 9 days 69 minutes. In September, 18(52, the Scotia performed the distance in nine days 2 hours 49 minute*.
