The Road across the swamp to the hills is completed, and is now in the course of being metalled, aud the bridge over the Halswell is finished ; the communication, therefore, from the plains to the bush is now open and will be in full use by all the surrounding settlers next spring. The upset price of the remaining sections is £12 PER QUARTER ACRE, at which price they will be sold to the applicant at auction, unless there shall be an advance thereon, and then to the highest bidder.
