For each entry of horses, bull, or sheep ; members, 10s.; all others, £1. Cows, heifers, or working bullocks : members, 55.; all others, 10s. Pigs or poultry . 2s. 6d. Cheese or butter : 2s. 6d. Implements, &c.: members, 55.; all others, 103. All entries to bo made with the Secretary, at the Government Buildings, on or before the 7th of October, (or between the Bth and the 14th October inclusive, on payment of double fees.) No entry can be received after tho latter date, and the committee will in no case consider an entry valid uuless the fees be paid at the time of making it. Exliibitors in private classes will not bo called upon to pay entrance fees. Extra stock which cannot be exhibited in any advertised class will bo admitted free. GENERAL REGULATIONS. No. 1. All implements to be on the ground by ten o'clock on Tuesday, October 20. No. 2. Trial of all implements selected by the Judges to take place at ten o'clock on Wednesdaj', October 21. No. 3. All cattle, sheep, pigs, and poultry to be on the ground by nine o'clock on Thursday, October 22. No. 4. All horses to be on the ground by ten o'clock on Thursday, October 22. No. 5. All horses must be haltered and led, and one man must be in attendance with each lot of horned cattle. No. 6. All servants in charge of stock admitted free, and subject to the order of the Stewards. No. 7. Exhibitors will be required to state as accurately as possible at the time of entry the date of birth of all stock in classes where the age is specified. No. 8. Pedigree of all thoroughbred horses must be deposited with the Secretary at the time of making entry. No. 9. The same animal cannot be entered in two classes ; but this shall not apply to private prizes. No. 10. Exhibitors of poultry will be required to find their own pens. No. 11. No stock or implements exhibited to be removed from the yard until after five o'clock on tho day of show, except with tho consent of the Stewards. No. 12. Tho Stewards will not under any circumstances hold themselves responsible for loss, damage, or miss-delivery of stock or implements exhibited at the show. No. 13. In the event of there being no competition in any class, no prize will be given unless the judges certify to particular merit. Power is also reserved to withhold a prize where the judges consider it ought not to be awarded for want of sufficient merit. No. 14. CAfITTERBURY AGRICULTURAL AND PASTORAL -ASSOCIATION. FT ra,rs_i__s prizes. A PRIZE of TEN POUNDS will be given by D. Innes, Esq., for the best Draught Mare with foal by King Fergus at foot; dam and produce both to be taken into account. Mr. Innes has promised a CUP worth TWENTY POUNDS for the best yearling colt or filly by King Fergus exhibited at the Association's Show in IS6I. dr. tcrnbull's prizes. A Silver Medal will be given by Dr. Turnbull for the best mare (for saddle purposes) on the list of " Blood Royal" for the current season, and A Silver Medal "for the best mare (for draught purposes) on the list of " Vauderbilt" for the current season. N.B.—The certificate of Dr. Turnbull that the names are on the Est must be produced at the time of entry. PRIZE BY ROBERT WlL_l_, ESQ.
