LYTTELTON.
[ Lyttelto' Bazaar.—During Wednesday and Thursday the good folks of Lyttelton have been in a state of delirious . excitement, all business having boen suspended iti order to [ give eclat to the object they nad m much at heart; and > nobly were they rewarded, for the Bazaar was a great success. . The amount taken at the doors amounted to about £40, which represents 800 persons as having paid for admission; the post , olhce yielded a profit of about £20; and upwards ot" £500 was , derived from the sale of articles contributed by the friends of \ the undertaking. At the conclusion on Thursday evening, a [ few things left ou hand were disposed of by auction, after f which " God Save the Queen" waa attempted, but broke down . from the want of a leader. It concluded \fith threo cheers for r the Lord Mayor, three cheora for the ladies, and three cheers. fur everybody.
