* The advices from Wnikato continue to be peaceful; the natives ate buey with their cultivations; the'chiefe have been in frequent coraunicatioti with the Governor, and it is understood that they are prepared to accept the new institutions for working native districts. The Bank of New Zealand was opened on the 16th October* with signal euocess. The agents of the contemplated colony of Nonconformists are on their way to Auckland, and will probably occupy the district intended for the Bay of If lands'settlement. Sir George Grey has introduced into the colony three additional game birds and animals from the Cape of Good Hope..
