Competition Keen At Fortnightly Sale

Messrs Dalgety and Co. Ltd. report having held their fortnightly stock sale on Thursday, when there was a medium yarding of goodconditioned cows and boners. Competition on all classes was exceptionally keen and an excellent sale resulted. Realisations were:—

Heavy Jersey cows, £ll 5s to £l2 2s 6d; Medium Jersey cows, £9 15s to £lO 10s; heavy boner cattle, £7 to £7 15s; light paddock cows, £6 5s to £6 18s; light boners, £5 to £5 10s.
