Votes Will Be Cast For Representatives On Hospital Board

Borough and County electors, when they go to the polls in two months’ time, will vote for representation on the Whakatane Hospital Board.

Members of the Board who were interviewed yesterday did not commit themselves as to whether or not they intended to stand again. One commented that he had not yet considered the matter and this seemed to be typical of all members.

The present Board is:—Mr J. Mullins (chairman), Mesdames R. Caverhill and D. E. Sumner, Messrs J. P. Caulfield, A. F. McGougan, J. A. Mitchell (these representing the County) and Messrs L. Buddie and C. A. . Suckling (representing the Borough).
