Provisional Plans Near Completion
Provisional plans for the proposed Whakatane Community Centre are expected to be completed by the planning sub-committee early next week.
' After approval by the general committee they will go before a special meeting of the Whakatane Borough Council, in which the building will be vested. The plans must be approved by the Council and forwarded to the Department of Internal Affairs before the end of the month if the scheme is to qualify for subsidy.
