Indoor Bowling Challenge

The St. John indoor bowling team withstood a challenge from the Thornton Indoor Bowling Club for the St. John Ambulance Shield on Wednesday. The competition was the strongest the St. John team have yet encountered for the shield. G. Ramson, A. W. Mclntosh, H. L. Drube and E. R. Ramson (skip) of the St. John scored 7/4, 8/6, 4/11 against the Thornton team, H. F. McDonald, Mrs W. F. Hanright, G. E. Jones and W. F. Hanright (skip).
