Miss M. Coates has returned to Whakatane after a holiday in Auckland.
Mr Te Hira Fergusson, of Merritt Street, Whakatane, has left for a short visit to Auckland. J Mrs A. W. Winstone, of Whakatane, was elected a representative on the Joint Council of the Order of St John and the Red Cross Society at the annual conference of the New Zealand Red Cross Society in Christchurch.
