Racing Club Officers
Nominations for officers of the .Whakatane Racing Club do not exceed the number of officers requir-. ed 'and the following have been elected: President, Mr D. Radcliffe* Messrs W. J. Sullivan and C. F. Eivers; executive members,, Messrs T. H. Anderson, G. Lodge and G. Otley. Card Results The Whakatane Bowling Club cards, held in the bowling pavilion on Thursday were won by Mrs C. Bathe and Mr S. S. Shapley, and the booby prizes went to Mrs A. Reid 'and Mr W. Crompton. Mrs L. Newman and Mr S. S. Shapley won the aggregate prize.
