Indoor Bowling
NEW LODGE CLUB AFFILIATES At the fortnightly meeting of the Whakatane Druids Lodge, held on Monday evening it was decided to affiliate the Lodge indoor bowling team with the newly formed Eastern Bay of Plenty Indoor Bowling Sub-Centre.
. At the conclusion -of the meeting the holders of the Silver '"Buttons for indoor bowls, Mrs C. Bathe, Mr F. Mollison, Mrs L. Bell and Mrs Grey (skip) were successful' in withstanding a challenge issued by Mrs L. Newman, Mrs J. Hanright, Mrs M. Barrowman and Mrs K. Hancock (skip).
