Waimana Forms Rod & Gun Club
The advantages of having a rod and gun club in the district were outlined by the area ranger, Mr K. Francis, Whakatane, to a well attended meeting at Waimana, which decided to form the Waimana Rod and Gun Club. Officers elected: —•
President, Mr W. Rickerby; secretary, Mr R. Bell; committee, Messrs W. Reid, N. Eagle. R. Wardlaw, J. B. Wardlaw, J. Leather, R. Boynton and M. King.
