The secretary, Mr T. H. Morgan, and his staff have taken most of the week to finalise the trophy and points prize winners of the Whakatane and Rangitaiki Agricultural and Pastoral Society’s Show held

"at Whakatane on Saturday. The following is the final list of, winners as released by him yesterday:— Stock Auctioneers’ Association Cup for most points in stock sections: Sisam and Sisam. Hellaby Trophy for most points in cattle and pig sections: H. E. Missen and Sons. Thompson Cup for champion mare: Sisam and Sisam. Sisam Cup for champion hack: Miss W. Ranstead, Matangi, Waikato. Wright, Stephenson Cup for most points in Jersey section: Rae Brothers. Society’s Silver Trophy for champion Jersey cow: F. R. Looney, Waimana. Greenmeadows Cup for most points in pedigree Jersey section: Rae Brothers. Whakatane Trophy for most points in Friesian section: G. R. Murray. Sisam Cup for returned servicemen riders over hurdles: K. Sisam. Silver Challenge Trophy for most points in graziers class sheep section: E.. R. Hunt. Armstrong Cup for Bay of Plenty jumping event: A. B. Symmans, Taneatua. Silver Challenge Trophy for most points in sheep breeders’ section: C. Foster, Omokoroa, Tauranga. Hudson Cup for most points in children’s ring events: Gaeleen Gordon, Ohope. Howat Cup for best Ayrshire exhibitor: E. Morey, Ngakura, Rotorua. Armstrong and Co. Ltd., Cup for best boy rider under 15: S. Eivers, Te Teko. Society’s Silver Rose Bowl -for show window competition: Whakatane Women’s Institute. Hudson' Silver Cup for most points in children’s section: B. Cameron, Te Puke. Whakatane Board Mills Ltd. Trophy for best children’s pony: M. Jamieson, Te Puke. Ching Trpphy for most points in grain and vegetables: F. T. Kirk. Silver Trophy for most points in pig section: H.’ E, Missen and Sons. Girls’ Marching Trophy: Robin Hood, Rotorua. Whakatane Carriers’ Association Trophy for most points in dairy section: G. R. Murray. Armstrong and Co. Ltd., Silver Cup for maize section: R. Ferry, Taneatua.
