Go-Ahead Gisborne
There appeared to be more buildings being erected or under alterations in Gisborne than any other town he had visited, reports a businessman from this district on his return to his home town. Everywhere he looked while in Gisborne there appeared to be some sort of building going on. Quite a few other towns appeared to be dead in comparison. With such building activity it was considered that the population of Gisborne should increase rapidly in the next few years.
