Land Tax Due
Due date for payment by individuals of land-tax for the current year is on Monday, January 16. Demands will be posted this week, and payment must be made on or before Monday, February 6. Otherwise 5 per cent additional tax accrues. All matters affecting landtax will be dealt with in future by Branch offices of the Land and Income Tax Department and not by the Commissioner of Taxes at Wellington.
