Pikowai Picnic

Settlers and friends, with their children, numbering about 70, enjoyed a very pleasant picnic on the beach at Mimihau, Pikowai, last week. : The lagoon, a perfect place for children, was most popular, extra fun being added by a rubber dinghy in which many exciting rides took place. Lunch and afternoon tea were served in the cool shade of the lopantha trees. Everyone voted it a most jolly affair and agreed that Pikowai Beach makes an ideal picnic spot.
