Sudden Death Of Matata Maori

Mr Purei Arnold Fraser, a road planer driver employed by the County Council died suddenly at Matata on arrival home from visiting friends on Friday night. Mr Purei was a married man with two children. There is to be. an inquest. He had been out visiting a friend s home with others and left there fairly late at night with some companions who went home with him. He collapsed on his front lawn, and, though Dr E. F. C. Hefford and the ambulance were sent for urgently, Mr Purei died before he could be got to the hospital.
