It is published by Massey Agricultural Colleye (N"evr Zealand).- filiis attiac—-tively-printed book covers the whole range of 22 addresses given at the sheepfarmers’ annual meetings at *the College and at Napier in June. The articles include contributions from authorities at the Animal Research Stations at Wallaceville and Ruakura, the Grasslands Division, and the Soil Bureau of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, the Cawthron Institute, Massey Agricultural Collfeg'e, and the Soil Conservation and Rivers- Control Council. Much useful information can also be gleaned from the discussion following each paper. The book is so arranged as to deal firstly with the live animal, a and on this a considerable amount of research work has recently been focussed. Then follows a series of articles on, soil fertility and the elimination of weeds, and finally there is a close study of pasture species.
