REGULATIONS TO REMEMBER LIQUOR ON TRAINS PROHIBITED The public are reminded by the Railways Department that under the Licensing Amendment Act, 1948, it is an offence punishable by a heavy fine for any person to drink intoxicating liquor in a railway train to supply any person with liquor for consumption in a railway train, or to carry intoxicating liquor for consumption in a railway train. Through the vigilance of its officers the Department endeavours at all times to ensure observance of the above regulations, and in this connection the co-opera-tion of train passengers will be appreciated.
