Te Teko W.D.F.F. Christmas Party

The monthly meeting of the Te Teko Branch of the W.D.F.F. was held in Mrs Costello’s home. Arrangements for the member’s children’s Christmas party were made and the gifts this year are to be purchased by the committee, but all members are to share the cost. A new member welcomed was Mrs Winters. A most instructive and interesting demonstration on how to arrange flowers in a decorative bowl of flowers and to arrange flowers in vases and baskets, with helpful hints for show work, was given by Mrs Hepburn. She presented birthday flowers to Mes-. dames Pryor and Linsell. Best bloom, Mrs Watson 1, Mrs Nation 2; vegetable, Mrs Hallett 1; fruit, Mrs Hallett 1, Mrs Hutton 2. Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses Mesdames Linsell and Eivers.
