P . & T. Cricket Club Has Good Year

With a cash credit of £25 and assets totalling £l2O the balance sheet of the Whakatane P. and T. Cricket Club showed the finances to be in a very healthy position when it was presented at the annual meeting. Last year the Club had a very successful season, being the winners of three different shields. Officers elechd:— Patron, Mr 8. S. Shapley; president, Mr W. Whiteside; vice-presi-dents, Messrs C. Armstrong, A. Bridger, J. D. Rivett, P. Coutts, C. Hudson; secretary, Mr R. Schou; delegates to Whakatane Cricket Association, Messrs A. Paton and W. D. Rivett.

When washing white silk add two tablespoons of milk to the rinsing water. This will prevent the silk from looking dull or yellow.
