Edgecumbe Red Cross Meets
Baby Layettes, which are now. ready are to be forwarded to St. Mary’s Home, Auckland, it was decided at the monthly meeting of the Edgecumbe Red Cross SubCentre, presided over by Mrs T. G. Roberts. The sewing circle was proving very satisfactory and a number of garments have already been completed. A bring and buy stall was conducted by Mrs H.‘ M. Carter while a stocking competition was won by ;Mrs J. Burgess.
