£3B For Needy Children
A dramatic society composed of youngsters from four Sydney schools has turned in a cheque for £3B to Mrs Jean Daly, honorary treasurer of the Australian National Committee for the United Nations, as its contribution to the United Nations Appeal for Children. The children presented three one-act plays for three nights to raise the amount. They are from Scots College, Kambala School for Girls, Cranbrook School and Ascham School.
