Mr G. Gartshore, of Whakatane, is expected to return home on Saturday after spending his annual holidays touring the North Island. "
Nurse June Moore, of the Whakatane District Hospital, left on Friday for three weeks holiday in Tirau.
Miss P. Birstall, of Ohope, will leave Whakatane on Thursday for Takapuna to commence training as a nurse in the Wilson Home. Mr N. Bremner, Licensee of the Commercial Hotel, who has been at lielensville for the past two months, will return to Whakatane today accompanied by his wife, who has been on a two month’s tour of America. Mr and Mrs “Snow” Finlayson will leave tomorrow for Hamilton where they relieve the manager of the Waikato Hotel.
