Edgecumbe Boy Returning For Ordination Ceremony

All who knew the Rev. A. D. Horwell during the ten years he was Presbyterian Minister in the Rangitaiki district ,will be interested to know that his son, Mr Graham Horwell, has now completed his training for the Ministry and will be leaving for the New Hebrides in the near future to serve his Church as a Missionary.

Having been associated with the Edgecumbe congregation as a lad, and for a longer period than with any other Church, he feels that the Rangitaiki Church is his “Home Church,” and for that reason it has been arranged that he should be ordained to the Ministry at Edgecumbe by the Bay of Plenty Presbytery. The Ordination Service will be held in the Presbyterian Church Hall at Edgecumbe on Tuesday, February 10 at 8 p.m. and will be condueted by the Moderator of Presbytery. There will be a social evening at the conclusion of the service when friends will have the opportunity to meet Mr and Mrs Graham Horwell and to renew acquaintance with his parents.
