Gruesome Careers The conversation when Constantine Romanoff meets Albert Pierrepont in London promises to be somewhat gruesome. In Romanoff’s career as screen executioner, he has “hanged” or “electrocuted” many stars for their crimes on the screen. Pierrepont, of course, is the famous real-life executioner from whom Romanoff no doubt hopes to gather the expert’s angle on the job.

In the new 20th. Century Fox picture “Cluny Brown” starring Charles Boyer , and Jenifer Jones Una O’Conner’s role of screen mother has a new twist.
