DANCE AT OTAKIRI

A further popular girl dance Avas held at Otakiri on Tuesday evening, the three girls combining in a joint effort. VieAved from all angles the eA'ening Avas entirely successful and a large number of Aotes AA 7 ere added to the total of each girl. The Premier Dance Band, Avliich made its first appearance at Otakiri supplied popular rhythm for both modern and old-time dancing.. Avhile Mr O. Lord handled the position of M.G. in his usual capable manner. The supper, suppled by a ladies' committee Avas lirst class, and Avas much enjoyed by all. A Monte Carlo was Avon by Miss Doris Murray and Mr lan Murray. On Thursday night, an evening Avas held in support of Miss Ruth Tunnicliffe at the residence of Mr and Mrs Walter' Murray. A variety of entertainments including music, ping-pong ard cards Avere at the. disposal of those present and the whole thing went oil very successfully.
