On account of the election next Saturday Avill be an open day. Those members who have not completed their second qualifying round for the championships will be permitted to do so. Intersec.t.ional Piay-oiV: Dr Dawson v Anderson. Ladies Matches Next Saturday, all ladies matches will start from No. 1 tee. All men's matches will start from No. 10. Placing Placing will be abolished as l'rom next Saturday except in cases of members who have, not yet completed their qualifying rounds. Results These will be published later with the draw for each respective grade. The highlight of the qualifying rounds,, however, was a splendid 77 off the stick by Bill Henderson. Added to a first, round of 82 makes him top man to qualify for the Senior Championship with total gross of 159—23—136. It is possible also that he may win with the nett 136—the president's trophy for the third season in succession. However, this will be certified after all the cards have been checked.
