POLITICAL REPRESENTATIVE MATCH
Sir, —The 194 a .season will be draw-; ing to a close with the match Probables versus Possibles next Saturday. After which the Representative team will be chosen. As quite a number of players have been on tour some having represented the Dominion in Africa, England Iceland and Scotland and the great. United States of America few have visited the Pacific Islands also Australia. The selector had no opportunity to see the games they played and may be inclined to over-rate them. The following may take, the iield: Probables Fullback: Atmore. This player is safe. His. games against Liberal, Tory's Coalition and National gained him many friends. Three-quarters: Peter Fraser, Holland, Lee.. The co-ordination between these players will undoubtedly produce an open game though they may be inclined to talk too much. Five-eighths: Skinner and Parry. If Skinner can rehabilitate the three-quarter line the game will be full of interest. Halves: Mason and Semplc. Mason has been playing good football for some years. Semple has an inclination to hang on and resort to kicking where he should pass. Forwards: Wings,, Mrs Drcaver and Mrs Stewart. Mrs; Dreaver is, inclined to play off side but they are both sound in a good open game., Back row: Schramm and Bill Sullivan. Bill is a good place kick and might have shifted, the costly State houses. Lock: Poison. Front row: Moncur, Langstone, Cotterill. The forwards are a very sure pack. Poison who has been playing for some years, in the old Tory Club, may find his place a bit warm. Lang-* stone may lift his feet too high. Possibles Fullback: Algie. This player has talked himself into the. position. Three-quarters: Gillespic, Sheet, Kyle. These represented club gootball in the old Tory Club. Five-eighths: Doidgc, Broatlfoot. This pair arc capable, of some lively exchanges and. may make the game interesting. Halves: Connolly, Gerard. Forwards: Wings,, Oram, Paikca. Hack row, Corbett, Holyoake. Lock: Omana. Front row: Coulter, J. S. Stewart, S. W. Smith. \ The old Tory Club being well represented, these Possible players will put up a good fight for representative honours. They have yet to considerably improve to gain their passes. Kyle, Doidge, Broadfoot and Ho'.yoake are seasoned players and just may have the misfortune of being pushed into touch when t'..ey look like scoring. Any players not being able to make the trip to Wellington are. requested to notify the selector not later than 7 p."m. on Friday night. Yours etc, P. MORA.
