WALKING STICKS!

SUPPLY wanted urgently FOR CONVALESCING SOLDIERS We have been approached by the secretary of the local branch of the Red Cross Society, Mrs J. E. Winstone, to give publicity to the fact that a supply of walking sticks is urgently need, ed for patients at the Rotorua Soldiers' Convalescent Hospital. A good response was made to a similar appeal launched some time ago, but since then the need has grown considerably.

If there should be members of the public who can assist in this direction the organisers would be glad if they would leave the sticks at the Red Cross shop or if unable to do so, they can be collected if the address of the donor is given.
