Fo rin ! s poem said: Some people sec more with one eye than others do with two, Some manage better with thfe old than others with the new; Tliejthing that counts is a fighf.i'ng brain attached to a good stout heart, This verse is merely to let you know we think you fill the part, General Wavell replied: It's true I've one. eye only, my aide lias but one too, So he looks east and I look when we want a wider view; My rhyming and my metre could hardly lie much wor,se.
